NAVITAT CANOPY ADVENTURES, a high-adventure zip line canopy tour in the San Gabriel Mountains, is an exhilarating non-traditional option for bachelor and bachelorette parties for the summer wedding season. The NAVITAT canopy tour course is entirely tree-based and features 10 zip lines ranging from 200 to 1,500 feet in length -- including one that sends guests soaring 300 feet above the canyon floor. Guests begin their experience at the Welcome Center in downtown Wrightwood where they meet their guides, go through a 20-minute orientation session, and gear up. Then, they ride to the start of the custom-designed course, learning along the way about the natural and cultural history of the area. In Ground School, guests are trained in proper zip line techniques before starting the course.

Open since July 2011, NAVITAT CANOPY ADVENTURES is located in Wrightwood, Calif., just 90 minutes northeast of Los Angeles and near the popular Mountain High winter resort. The original NAVITAT tour is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina. USA TODAY called it “One of 10 Great Zip Lines in the U.S.” in 2010.
NAVITAT tours run daily through the end of November. Tour price Sunday-Friday is $109 per adult and $99 per youth under 18, and on Saturday $119 per adult and $109 per youth.
