Say "I Do" at One of Maryland's Most Exclusive Wedding Destinations

Couples in search of that truly unique, exclusive, and memorable destination wedding venue need look no further than the Aspen Wye River in Queenstown, Maryland.  Overlooking the sparkling Wye River on over 1,100 acres featuring picturesque woodlands, rolling pastures, an orchard of Cherry Blossoms, and an 18th century garden, the Aspen Wye River (managed by Marriott Hotels & Resorts) hosts just a few weddings each year and still has some availability for 2012 according to general manager Peter Cantone.

"Due to our locale, we can only do a handful of weddings a year.  Couples can opt for very exclusive weddings of up to 150 people or something more intimate for 30 to 70 guests," adds Mr. Cantone.

Situated on Maryland's Eastern Shore near the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, the Aspen Wye River is easily accessible from Newnam Field Airport in Easton, MD; BWI Airport, and Reagan National Airport.  The private facility allows couples to take over the entire property and have their ceremony in the gazebo in the 18th century gardens, dockside overlooking the Wye River, or in one of two onsite buildings.  Brides can even arrive by horse-drawn carriage if they so choose!  The opportunities to design a dream wedding are endless here with the capabilities to create a tented gala, poolside cocktail reception, and a formal wedding in the mansion.
